Jodie – Early Years Creative Group worker
Jodie brings a vibrant mix of creativity, energy and early years expertise to Home‑Start. As a mum of two, she understands how important it is for young children to explore, express themselves and build confidence through play. Her background includes a BA (Hons) in Dance Education from the University of West London, and she uses her professional training to design imaginative sessions that open up new opportunities for children.
Jodie leads our under‑5s dance, movement and creative play groups, giving children the chance to experience music, rhythm, mime, storytelling and expressive movement. Her sessions are joyful, inclusive and designed to help children develop physical skills, social confidence and school‑readiness ,especially for those who may not otherwise have access to these experiences.
Families consistently describe Jodie as warm, encouraging and full of ideas. She has a natural ability to help children feel comfortable, supported and excited to try new things.
