Hayley – Project Coordinator, Essex Child & Family Service & Forest School Leader
Hayley is deeply passionate about school readiness, early childhood development and helping young people develop the skills they need to thrive. As a mum of two boys, she brings warmth, empathy and lived experience to her work, combining her understanding of family life with strong professional expertise.
Hayley currently coordinates the Essex Child and Family Service, providing one‑to‑one support for parents and children and leading our Hungry Little Minds early learning groups. Her approach is calm, nurturing and practical, and she is known for building strong relationships with families who value her supportive, down‑to‑earth style.
Before joining Home‑Start, Hayley worked within education, supporting class teachers and pupils with targeted programmes to meet individual learning and social needs. She has extensive experience working 1:1 with children, supporting behaviour, communication and confidence, and liaising closely with teachers, SENCo teams and parents.
As a qualified Forest School Leader (Level 3), Hayley also facilitates outdoor learning sessions that promote resilience, curiosity and holistic development.
